Artist's statement - Carnival
Being born and brought up in Bedfordshire, one of the great things I've always been proud of is the multi-cultural element of the towns there. Luton celebrates this especially in the form of its carnival. It's a great spectacle, appealing to all the parts of the community. Celebrating diversity, food, music and costumes, all rolled up into one long procession and party - the carnival.
